Subject: Dometic Extended Warranty...worth it?

Location: Ft. Lawn, South Carolina		I have a 2007 Bison AlumaSport LQ and have recently received the Dometic Extended Warranty to buy for my refrigerator and air conditioner.  Is this warranty worth the expense?  Anyone had experiences with them....pros and cons, please!! Have not had any trouble with either  of the above.

My oldest fridge and AC are 2000 models, my newest 2001. No problems with either pair.

I don't think any extended warranty is worth its cost to me.

An extended warranty has a margin of profit built into the cost of repairs.  It's like betting against the house in a game of chance.  You might win, but the odds are against you and favor the house.

Besides do you choose appliances or vehicles with a greater chance of breakdown or less so?

Put your money into greater quality instead.
