Location: Fruitport, MI | I am looking to buy a two horse trailer with a dressing room for around $6000. Most of the trailers in my price range are Sundowners and I am aware of the floor problems in the Sunlite and Valuelite. I was wondering if there are any years that were not affected? |

Location: warren, ct | I had a 2002 sundowner, it was not affected. for me , it was a great trailer-however, when I went to sell it, I had a trailer place tell me they wouldn't take it on trade because of the reputation. you should be able to get one reasonable, the bad years were somewhere around 2000-2002, just don't plan on resale value and have the under carriage looked at by a professional. |

Location: Cornfield in Iowa | Search the threads for Sundowner and you will find info about the problems. If you have the VIN #, you can tell if it is an all aluminum or aluminum with a steel frame. You want all aluminum. |
