Anyone have any idea if there is a limit to the amount of weight in the tack room of a goose neck horse trailer, un-hitched?  I am using my horse trailer to move houses and have packed my tack room area quite full, mostly boxes, a couple bookcases etc.   Was going to un-hitch the trailer but definitely hit resistance as I lifted it up off the truck.  I assumed from the extra weight in the tack room.  I don't mind having to put a little extra oomph into turning the crank, but is there a point at which it is too much for the trailer to stand un-hitched?  I just thought it was a lot of weight all centered over the tongue of the trailer without the bed of the truck to support it.

What is your trailer's landing gear certified for?Remember the lifting capacity is always LESS than the static load capacity by about a ton

No idea.  Would it be found on the trailer somewhere?  It is a Sundowner 4H GN Valuelite.
