Location: Montello, WI | I have a 2013 Bison Travelor with a 6 foot slide out. The fresh water tank is under the couch in this slide out and I believe it's 40-42 gallons. There's room for an additional water tank and for longer trips, I would like the extra capacity without having to refill from a tank on the hay rack (prefer this to be avalable to water the horses).
Will the slide up handle the additional weight of a 15 -20 gallon auxillary tank? |

Location: Ottawa, Illinois 61350 | I would think you would be OK with the extra 15-20 gallons on a 6' slide. Bison's 12' slide has both a couch and a dinette on it, and has a forty gallon tank under EACH dinette seats for a total of 80 gallons of water capacity, with as many as 6-7 people sitting on that slideout at one time. Before you do it though, it might not hurt to call Bison, and ask for Todd or Glen; as this is a modification of original equipment. |

Location: Montello, WI | Thanks, Jim. I'm not worry about warranty as I bought the trailer used. I called Bison about the warranty and was informed that their warranties were not transferable. |

Location: Harrisburg, OR | I agree with Jim. We have the factory install an additional water tank on most orders that have dinettes and have not had any issues. Thad |
