Location: Wetumpka AL | I've been pulling my 3H bumper pull aluminum horse trailer with a 2002 Ford Expedition for several years now. However, my brake controller died and I need to get a new one as soon as possible. Can someone recommend a brand or a type to look for (and/or avoid)? Thanks in advance! |

| Hello, I purchased several years ago one made by Tekonsha- they make several models. I like the Prodigy. easy to install, works well, and if you have more than one vehicle for towing you can purchase a second 'cradle' mount and move the controller to alternate vehicles. |

Location: North Carolina | I have Tekonsha's P3... I liked the mounting arrangement. Controls are on the front with a lever on the bottom. It fits into the dash where the ash tray was.Frosting... It has a lifetime warranty. |

Location: pineville,mo | I have a Primus IQ that seems to work really well on our big trailer, although you can here a relay noise clicking on the hydraulic unit on our electric over hydraulic brake that I never heard before but it works fine and I had our trailer man listen to it and he said that is normal ............ |

Location: Wetumpka AL | I just wanted to thank yall for the responses! My brake controller (for the moment) has decided to work again - it may have been a ground problem that I think I have solved. But I am saving this info for when it does give up the ghost. Thanks again! |
