Location: catherine | I had a buyer email me asking for info that was in my ad. When I called her she wanted me to send her copies of my VIN# and original bill of sale from dealer showing price. She said it was to show her bank for financing. She asked little about the trailer, just said it was what she wanted. Do buyers normally need this info? Thank you! |

Location: Missouri | I agree, I'd make contact with the bank and fax the information to them. If she provides you the bank phone number, verify independently. You have to be suspicious, these days thieves will try anything. In my opinion anyone who gets pissed off at you for doing diligent, isn't worth doing business with. |

Location: Colorado | I sell vehicles for a living, often to out of state buyers. It's not uncommon for me to send a copy of the title and MY invoice to the bank doing the financing. If they want a copy of the invoice from when you bought the trailer, that's a little suspicious. I'd probably not provide that without a very good explanation. If they haven't been that interested in finding out the details of your trailer itself, that's probably not a good sign either. Good luck! Bill |
