Thinking about getting a couple...would anyone like to comment on them? Probably not a good idea to install them on awning side of trailer?Thanks

I don't have them, but would like to. Several people have commented here on the Hi Ties and like them. You can do a search on the forum. I think there were some pretty recent comments.

Painted Horse has used them, is quite a fan of them, and has made several postings in this and other forums about their suitability.

I had them and liked them a lot for keeping young horses off the sides of my trailer. I did not have much luck using them for grazing, as leaving enough slack in the line to graze also ran a risk of getting a leg over the line. I can tell you from my experience, a couple horses tugging against them while being tied during the night was loud enough to wake me, and annoying. My new trailer doesn't have them, as I switched to portable electric fencing.
