Location: Florida | To many, backing trailers is second nature, but to some it is a challenge. It looks like Ford is releasing a backup assist feature to make it easier for the novice. http://www.hardworkingtrucks.com/2016-ford-f150-dials-in-trailer-ba... be interesting to see if they move it up to 3/4 and 1 tons as well, and how it works with a gooseneck. |

Location: northeast Texas | Well I clicked the link, and what makes me mad is the very first paragraph is a sexist remark insinuating that women cannot back trailers ! Yes the concept is sad. You have to LEARN to back a trailer. And there is no reason why anyone cannot do something as simple as backing straight down a boat ramp. I think I will have to contact them about that remark slurring women drivers! |

I offered to help the macho man at the boat ramp back his big rig into the water after watching him try for 30 minutes. He left. |

I think you are being overly sensitive. I did not take it that way at all. It is obviously meant to be humorous, and even at that is a bit ambiguous.

Location: TN | Maybe the husband is asking the wife to back the boat in because he knows she is better at it! ;) Just ask my husband why he spends most of the time in our truck in the passenger seat! |

Location: Rayne, LA | I was showed as a young man, put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel and turn it in the direction that you want the back end of the trailer to go. After backing many many times I sometimes find myself still doing that same thing |
