| On my 2014 ram it stays on as long as it's on when the trailers connected even after shutting the truck down,our 2012 it doest. |

Location: Columbia, KY | Yes the exhaust brake on pick ups is a great idea! I used mine today as a matter of fact. 2012 Dodge 3500 duelly hauling 16,000 lbs. on a 2 mile 8% grade hill. using tow/ haul mode and the exhaust brake kept us at 40-45 mph and I touched the brakes maybe twice the whole time. |
