I had mine registered in ME. I lived in MD. No inspection needed. You do give the agency power of attorney to license it. I think it cost me 206$ for the registration and fees for a 12 yr tag. Never had any issues. I used The Staab Agency. http://staabagency.com/ Since I moved to MO. I turned them in and have MO tags.
