Hi, we have sold our current trailer and are looking to downsize in LQ size, trailer length, and esp. weight.

We are going with a stock combo design.

In the running with our budget and our research on the empty weights of trailers are Featherlight, Sundowner, and a Custom Classics, ( an Iowa company that is an offspring of the past Southern Classics. (We love our older Southern Classic stock trailer) Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I drag a 24' Featherlite often and I'm reminded of the old slogan "Nothing pulls like a Featherlite." Out of the three brands that you listed I wouldn't hesitate to order a Featherlite, good brand recognition and nearly all trailer shops will work on these with the company being easy to deal with. They also can put in a premium LQ with customization for your exact needs if desired. I just ordered an Elite and would encourage you to look at these also if budget allows, I found that trailer prices varied widely based on the dealer and not the trailer...had several dealers not even call me back, their loss! Happy hunting and shop around for best price.
