Am just asking this out of curiosity and a recent experience: if someone offers guided trail riding services,and they charge a fixed fee/ rate- are they required in most states to hold a guide license? Is this something that is overseen through a state's Game and Fish Commission,or if it's involving guided riding in a national forest,the Forestry Service?

Location: pineville,mo		Not sure on national forest but do know on state you are not allowed to charge for showing state lands,i am sure national forest lands have a whole different set of rules.

Location: Rayne, LA		I was told by someone that owns a horse camp he would have to pay approx 30% of his fees to forest service ( but he can accept tips )
