We have a shortbed F250 with a flatbed and the ball is recessed (and welded in). We would like to use a B&W Extend a Goose Coupler TEXA4200 to give us more turning clearance with the trailer. The ball is in a well  4 3/4" deep and its is 7" from the middle of the ball to the back of the well. Has anyone used one of these in these circumstances. The coupler rises at an angle but I can't tell if its a steep enough rise to be about the well wall. Thanks

I have a ram 3500 with a 9ft flat bed and I use the pop up hitch sb series. I am not sure it it's the same as the one you are looking at but mine was made for flat beds and has a extra 4" (I think) rise to get up out of the well. I went with the 16" off set instead of the 9" to get more clearance on the corners of the bed.

Thank You! As much as I searched I found the Pop Ups but not that series before. I was looking at the B&W goose neck extender but when I contacted the company they said it would not work...still think it might have but not when I know there is another option.
