Hi guys. New to forum, and have a quick question. I'm looking at a Shaffer 3h w/ living quarters, and can find nothing on line about the trailer. Does anyone out there know anything about that manufacturer?

RUN! They are early 90's and were not around for very long. I believe they were FRP . They were heavy and prone to leaks. They resembled a truck camper in the LQ.

It was brought to my attention that Schaffer Trailers probably did not  do the LQ conversion on the Schaffer trailer my freind had. The leaks she had very well may have been caused to whoever put it in. Since this was many years ago, and in fairness to the trailer manufacturer, IMHO, you should look at each trailer as a indidivual. I spoke only from my experience with the one trailer. I'm told the LQ's that Schaffer installed at the factory were all high end solid wood cabinetry. IMHO, someone else must have put her interior in. I suggest calling the trailer manufactuer with the VIN# to learn more about the trailer you are inquiring about.
