Location: KY | What is your favorite helmet for trail riding and why. Does anyone use a body protector vest? What is the most comfortable? |

Location: TN | My husband and I both use Troxels. They seem to be more comfortable (for my head). I had a terrible time finding a helmet that I would wear through the whole trailride. Mine is a Troxel Dakota. We do not use protector vests so I can't offer any input there. |

Location: Odenville, Alabama | Aegis. It has a "wheel" adjustment that you can turn to tighten or loosen. Really cool! I have 3 of them Nancy |

Location: CA | I love the Aegis too. You can get a really good fit with the dial, so your helmet doesn't slide around (into your eyes or back to your collar). It has a strap that goes around the base and you dial it tighter once it gets on your head, so it kind of hugs your head. Comfortable, good fit, cheap ($39 through State Line), and it comes in cool colors! |

Location: The Land of Ahs | the Troxel Dakota! it has an adjustment system that's new and very handy. opens and closes easily and really fits well. Jeffers in Dothan, AL had the Dakota for less than anyone else I could find on-line,too, if it's okay to say that in this forum. |

| I ride in a Tipperary also. It fits my head very well. I've found that each brand helmet, fits totally different. I would find the one that fits you the best and is most comfortable and go with it. |
