Looking for  suggestions for replacing the rubber inside fender where the horses are wearing/ripping it off. It is a Lakota and they use very cheep thin rubber in an area where they shouldnt in my opinion..

You can buy cheap mats by the foot at Tractor Supply.  Higher quality mats will be vulcanized and will last longer.  If you want something that will save the trailer and your pocketbook you can cut marine plywood to size and then have it sprayed with bedliner and mount inside the trailer with hardware or construction adhesive. A really long lasting and expensive way to fix this is to place poly boards (think plastic cutting board in the kitchen) as a liner, no mats needed!  These can be purchased in sheets and mounted with adhesive.

the best solution imho is find a place that sell used conveyor belting, not the 1/2 thick stuff like they use in rock quarries but the 1/4 stuff that they use like to move fed ex boxes.  That stuff is actually fiberglass reinforced rubber it is much better than any type "mat" you will find because it has a fiberglass mat in it to hold the rubber together.  Think rebar in cement.
