Just a newbie question, but I was Just wondering why most LQ, have the front entrace door on the same side as the drivers side? I went to a campground with full hook ups, and water, electric, and sewer connections were all on the drivers side. All the RV's and trailers, had the entrance door on the passanger side, Oppposite of all the connections?

Well, since nobody else has answered, here's my opinion.

Small LQs work well utilizing the space to have the door on the shortwall. Also- a lot of rodeo folks like it this way because they often are in and out of their LQ and it is closer.

In the east, where there are lots of trail riders who camp in regular RV style campgrounds, the door is on the longwall (passenger side). A driver's side LQ door just doesn't work for them, and many folks will not own a LQ set up that way.

Out here in the west, it seems like it is 10 to 1 door on the passenger side

Makes Sense, Thanks for the answer.
