I plan to use my LQ mostly by myself. I find the 2nd sink in the bathroom redundant, but most trailers seem to offer them now, so I'm wondering if I'm missing a vital function of the bathroom sink over removing it and putting in another closet?

I'll offer one scenario:
Say you sell it someday. To prospective buyers that travel in pairs (or more), a place to wash your hands after USING the bathroom, is mighty nice when the other sink is in use cooking dinner.
If that's not a consideration for you, then it lands squarely in the category of personal preference. When we were trailer shopping, it wasn't on the top of our list (or anywhere else). Now though, I'm very fond of that sink.

Total agreement with DBarnes. I had a very tiny weekender with a single sink. I got by and loved that little trailer. However, daughter moved across the country with our only grandchild. So, what are the grandparents to do but sell the little trailer and buy one with a full LQ. You do have to consider the resale aspect even though you might think it's your keeper.

If more than one person is using the LQ, it would be wonderful to have the second sink. Ours doesn't and my husband & I juggle our time to make it work - maybe he feeds the horses while I clean up after a meal and wash my face, etc. Then I do something outside while he shaves, etc. If we are ever able to upgrade to a larger trailer, a sink in the bathroom is on my must have list!  Our 'new to us' LQ has the 2nd sink...love it for washing and you can store little things in it while in transit...our old LQ did not have one so I did not know any better...now, I love having it.

I have never used my kitchen sink. I have never cooked in my trailer. Use the bathroom sink only.

I haven't seen one with a second sink, but I can see how it might be practical to have one in the midtack... so that when you are working with your horse, grooming, meds, or tacking up, it would be nice to have a small bar sink to use instead of dirtying up your nice bathroom.

I only have one sink in the kitchen, but I just position the hand held shower head so I can use it to wash my hands while in the bathroom. Can you believe their is an emoticon for this ?
