I would really love to talk to people who own late 70's and 80's model horse trailers.  There was a ton of these things built and they were built to last and are still around.

If you have a Hale, please check in.  I'd like to chat with you a bit about your trailer.  I have questions.  :

I just bought one yesterday! 1972.
The mechanicals still work, but the body needs love. We drove it on the freeway for 40 miles, no problems!

I would love to see some photos of it!  I just ran into a girl on Facebook in "This Old Horse Trailer" group that just bought one too.  We've been sending photos back and forth going "Is yours like this?" lol

Unfortunately my mangers were removed so I'm going to have to create something in that aspect.

Can you possibly give me an idea how your wiring goes from the front to the back?  Does it run under that odd metal channel in the middle by any chance?  I'm stumped and the wiring that's on there now was rednecked down the sides and looks awful.

I would LOVE to know where the Hale Mfg company was located.  I'd like to read up on the company history if anyone happens to know anything about them.
