I have contacted Adams twice trying to find out the empty weight of the Julite 743 with no response. I am looking for a trailer lighter than this. Was able to tow the Juliet with my Dakota Quad cab V8 but could always feel that the trailer was a little too heavy for it. No problem with brakes or power but when the horses moved around you really felt it!I was told the empty weight was 3800 but haven't been able to confirm it.Now looking at a Shadow Stablemate at 2300 lbs. Anyone have any idea as to the Adams weight?PS the one Julite I was using was borrowed. Nice quality trailer the owner bought new but within a year it had one warped, leaking window and the manger was starting to rust out because of it. Also, this is an extremely small trailer-bare minimum in everything.

I had a Julite and think the label was 2800#. They are nice BP's and hold there value here around the eastern shore. The DR was nice and roomy. I've since traded my in for an Adams Excursion GN and nearly got what I paid for it, less $1200 and had it for 4 years!

Thanks! That does sound more like the weight I was thinking it was. We are in the rust belt so if you let trailer damage go for more than a couple of months they all start rusting to pieces! My friends did sell that trailer and got a very good price for it but I still think I'll be going with a Shadow-at 2300lbs I get a dressing room too and that's something I really missed on the Julite!

She has used it quite a bit and whilst enjoying it, has not yet experienced any problems.

We have bought Adams 3 out of the 4 times we have purchased. We loved them up until this last one we bought in April. It's a 3horse w/ 10 foot LQ and have quite a few brake problems along with issues in the LQ itself and also issues w/ the decal. I have been less than satisfied with the response we are getting from both the dealer and the manufacturer.

I guess it depends on where you bought it but Ronnie at Delwood has always been more then accommodating for my repairs. It's the little things like replacing those pesky back door latches that will break in a wind store and he did it for free. Or replacing a BCT tire that blew on me and giving me another spare. I've had nothing but great experiences with our dealer around here.

We are using Delwood. Ronnie doesn't want to deal w/ the LQ or decal issues and is referring us directly to Roger at Adams (Dalton), who is not returning our calls or emails.
