We recently bought a 3 horse slant load goose neck trailer. The short wall is directly in the corner. (there is no short wall) We are looking at converting it to a LQ (insulation, flooring, AC ect.) I was thinking about using 1x2 w/ paneling and possibly blown insulation. Putting down some roofing paper and then some laminate flooring. Not sure what to do for a bed a mattress is too tall. Not sure how to do the wiring for an Air conditioner either. We are not needing a kitchen/bathroom/ect. Just looking from a place we can sleep in and stay cool. Where we stay they have a kitchenette and showers available. Any help would be awesome, Even pictures. Thanks ahead of time

Check the thread about 20 below :

Also do a search here for 'living quarter'.
The same concepts/suggestions apply to your trailer - you just need to decide what you want to include, and what will fit in the space you have. The minimum for a bed is laying a mattress directly on the gooseneck platform. That's what we have and it works well - you do have to slide in and out, but it's very comfortable vs no mattress. The AC can be wired thru a breaker panel if you are installing other electronics, or can be wired to a plug to be plugged into your generator or the park.

You will need an opening window w/ screen on each side of the bed plus an escape hatch in the roof,or inplace of one of the windows. I have 2 fire extinguisers, one in the gooseneck area and one next to the man door.
