My chevy 3500 is now my daily driver. Has anyone ever used a cap seasonally? Other option is a hard folding tonneau cover. I am trying to decide between the two. Thanks for any input/suggestions.

I would recommend a TruXedo soft cover. No drilling on truck and no snaps. I have two on two different trucks and like them over the hard shell and fold up style (had them both and did not like them). try this link: http://www.truxedo.com/lopro/land.php

I've had the Truxedo covers on trucks since 2006. They have worked well for me. I can keep tools dry and out of sight by rolling the cover out and in minute roll the cover up and hook up my Gooseneck trailer.

The only part I hate is the Velcro. The sides are held in place with Velcro which over the years looses it's grip and I've had to replace it once and it's ready to be replaced again now. Not too expensive and the company sends the new strips right out.
