Looking at a 2006 Dream Coach, Silver edition, with a Bunk House conversion LQ. It is an aluminum, 3 horse slant. I do know that the company folded in 2008, I believe. Pros? Cons?

I believe the folded just like alot of recreational manufacturers, economy. i have owned alot of trailers, stick to the good names, 4 star, sundowner, bloomer, twister. i have a friend that owns a huge trailer dealership, they wont even take BISON, DREAM COACH AND SOME LAKOTAS IN ON TRADE. QUALITY IS JUST HORRIBLE! i am pullin a sundowner 8016 grand series now and love it. its 12 years old and still looks and pulls as new. THERES A REASON WHY THOSE QUALITY BRANDS HOLD UP. good luck!

Like some trailer companies, Dream Coach had some ownership changes as well as hometown changes and there could likely have been some quality variation- but as a whole I think most folks would consider them a nice piece of equipment. We have traded for several over the years, and welcome more.

We recently had a unit similar to what you describe, and it was straight as a pin, built like a tank. Good trailer with a good interior. Just my opinion.

I would stick with a top name brand trailer even if they are out of business, the resale of a top trailer will always be there if it is taken care of and they are in demand. I also know the inferior trailers are very tough to get rid of when the time comes to trade or sell.

I have a friend with a Dream Coach with a bunkhouse conversion. Beautiful trailer, built like tank. She hasn't had any structural problems with it.
I must say I am surprised to hear about the trailer seller that won't take them as a trade-in.
