Has anyone tried Softride boots?https://www.softrideboots.com/Default.aspThey are pricey and I'm wondering if it's worth the investment...they say the cushioning is shock absorbent and eliminates the need for foam mats underneath trailer mats. Are there any good products out there that help smoothen the trailer ride?

my friend has these for her horse that has feet problems, they are very price and some time they twist on the hoof I do not think that these would work for what you are trying to do

I have these and swear by them. I had a severely foundered mare that wore them 24/7 and they never twisted or came off. I also used them on my gelding recently for founder. He also wore them 24/7. Again no twisting or coming off. I even used them on my paint mare, although they were too small for her, when her navicular was causing her pain. I hauled her to the vet with them on, too. I give great kudos to this product, and the customer support is terrific.

I haul with the Softrides and when at the show I stall with them on. If they twist on the foot then there too big. Softride website has a sizing chart. I also have cut the cushion to fit egg bar shoes. IMO they are worth the expense.

I've used them for 3 years now on my pony. I got them when he had a bout with laminitis. I also use them when it gets cold out and the gravel in front of the barn freezes. His feet get tender on the frozen rocks. I think they are definitely worth the cost.

I've never used boots on my horses. Has anyone experienced their horses refusing to wear them?
