Wondering about the cost of trailer insurance. Got a quote on my LQ trailer, approximate value 40K, and it was around $700 a year with a $1000 deductible. Seemed like a lot for something that is only used 2 or 3 days per month. Is this in the ballpark? Thanks

Sounds high. Is it a multi vehicle policy? Stored inside or outside? Claim history? We have a '12 Hart with 70k value thru Farm Bureau and it is ~600 with 1k ded. per year if I remember right. Stored inside, no claim history, multi vehicle/farm policy.

Does this include theft and comprehensive, when separated from the tow vehicle...will it cover contents when loaded?
