I am going to apply a bed liner to my aluminum floor...not sure if Duplicolor is the same formula as it used to be so does anyone know if it still is the best to use? I have found through researching Raptor spray in bed liner, it is the best for stock/horse trailers and urine? Any thoughts?

Duplicolor makes two products for coating truck beds. Their "Truck Bed Coating" is a vinyl polymer product that has been available for some time. It works well on steel and aluminum, and has been successfully applied by many DIYers. Their "Bed Armor" is a newer product that is water based and has Kevlar reinforcing. It can also be used on steel or aluminum as well as wood. Both of these are single part, cold applied products. I personally have used both on various projects without issues, and am very pleased with the results.

The bed liner materials will provide an impervious coating that will protect the aluminum from the corrosive affects of urine and manure. The statements about walking upon the flooring, is in reference to contamination of the flooring after it is cleaned with the acid, and before the liner material is applied. Between the two tasks, I take off my shoes and walk in stocking feet whilst applying the liner materials.
