I am looking for a new(er) LQ trailer. However there seems to be a WIDE variety in brands and prices. I know which brands are really well made. But does anyone have knowledge/experience with the following brands?LakotaMerhowBison

alot depends on your price range but I would rather have an older good trailer like an C& C 4 STar Platnium and a few others than a new cheap one. Look at the construction and then make your decision.

I believe kooner gave you some good advice. There are a lot of older trailers out there that are much better made then these new ones. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY ON. Some of these newer trailers look great but are JUNK. Camping and riding is quality time and you don't want to be frustrated by trailer problems. Do your homework before you buy

I bought a new Lakota in 2006 when they first came out. It was a piece of crap.. never stopped leaking and had multiple things wrong with it. I have to admit the company was very easy to work with and (tried to) fix everything. One issue would get fixed and something else would break. After 2 yrs I sold it, got an older Hart LQ and haven't had any problems.
