Just curious what size living quarter trailer do you have and what size truck you pull it with?

Seventeen foot with a twelve foot slide pulled by our C4500. I wouldn't feel comfortable pulling it with anything less.

Do not trust the people selling you an LQ unless they are also fitting the truck. We just sold our F-350 4x4 w airbags and bought a Kenworth small hauler for our 45' LQ... because the truck we sold didn't have the braking power we need in these hills around here, and elsewhere.

14' LQ with a 10' slide 4-horse. 2014 Chevy 3500 crew cab dually flatbed Duramax/Allison. Pulls like a dream more importantly with the integrated exhaust brake. Stops even better.

I'm look at a 3 horse-10ft short wall trailer. I have right now a 2500 dodge and trying to figure out if I need to go ahead in get air bags. At the end of the year I will be getting a 3500. So, I'm wondering if I should spend the $1000 to put them in for just a few months use.

timbrens will cost you less than half of that and do the same thing, install time is about 30 minutes and this is something just about anyone can install at home.
