I am considering this trailer as a purchase. Does anyone have any specs on it? Weight? Length? Aluminum vs steel frame? Problems with it? It seems to have evening I need or want, but want to be sure I am buying wisely. I will be pulling it with a Ford F-250 7.3 l diesel that has a chip and aux transmission cooler. Is this adequate? I will also be adding airbags.

What size LQ? How many horses? I had one that was a 99/2000--built during the transition of production runs, so it had features of both. 6' SW Siesta LQ, 3 horse, 8' wide. It was a great trailer. I pulled it for almost 14 years and it held up great. The frame was aluminum, the axle box powder coated steel, and I had zero issues with anything structural. Just minor repairs along the way. It was heavy for its size at around 8000 lbs empty, but I pulled it with a 3/4 ton the entire time, and the truck handled it fine.

I have a 2000 Sierra Southwest with a10' living quarters.....absolutely love it. Mine is all aluminum with the steel axle box as well. You can tell by the VIN # if it has a steel frame....you do NOT want that one. The last 6 numbers will include 2 letters. LA or AA means all aluminum, VA or ZA are steel frames.

Thank you all for your input. It is the all aluminum, which I was relieved about. Model 720. The seller says it is 28' long, with the mud room she says the long wall is 19 ft and the short wall is 15 feet... So does that make it something like a 10ft short wall in the LQ? I love the floor plan on it. It is a 3 horse. I did call sundowner with the vin # and its dry weight is 9723 lbs. so... Will go see it this week. I will be comparing it to a 05 Trails West, without a mid tack. So will be comparing. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sure sounds a lot like mine. The model tells you the dimensions.....for example mine is an 8010 which means 8 feet wide and 10 ft. LQ. That does not include the 4' mud room. I think you will love it. Does this one have a dinette or a couch?

Diggerdo, it has a dinette, but the bench seat closest to the gooseneck, has a long bench seat, which seems nice. Just not sure if the 28' will limit me, but the space might be worth it...?
