I am adding some goodies to our living quarters to make winterizing easier, I have the sureflo pump with the external strainer. I want to add the siphon to not fill the holding tank with antifreeze, but with the strainer I cannot install the three way valve and stuff. Can I just loose the strainer? Or can I install the valve some were else?

You wouldn't happen to know what size the water lines are would you seems to be pretty standard rv lines,i may get some shark bite fittings and cut the line mid way back and two female ends and wala no more filling the freash water tank with rv antifreeze and taking months to get the taste out.

Thanks I got the proper shark bite fittings and got it all hooked back up and the install was painless. Now I'm having hard time getting any water or the pump to run. I have the valves in correctly both on the hot water and the main line from the tank, what are the odds I have a bad pump and only breaking prime to do this it surfaced? Or does purging the air take a little longer than I thought?

HA! I hate to admit to this but alas I am,so I filled my tank after getting every thing put back together and some how my tank mist have had a air bubble because it was almost empty when I looked under the stairs! I'll go sit in the corner now.
