Should we / can we use spray in bedlinesr for the flooring of the horse area to help preserve the aluminum floor?  Is it worth it?

Just my opinion, but no. Have a friend who just replaced her aluminum floor because urine got under the liner and ate through the floor over the years. Nothing visible until it had holes showing from the bottom.

I say no having done it with a brand new trailer. I haven't followed the acceptance of the "worm" flooring but the typical spray in liner you get for trucks won't hold up in the long run. Mine bubbled in the areas where the horses stood with 1 in mats over the liner.

I say yes, but a roll on liner (not spray in) should only be used UNDER MATS. You need the mats to protect the liner and the liner to protect/seal the floor. I will have a WERM floor in my newly ordered trailer because I'm not young anymore and just had back surgery so I can't pull mats without risking being reinjured...still wishing I'd asked for a script so I could call it a medical expense on my taxes. With WERM you just sweep and hose that's it!
