Has anyone ever done this? We are looking to go a different direction and want to get a motorhome with a bumper pull to haul behind. We have done our research and are currently looking for a Super C as they are rated for a 10K towing capacity. But no dealers want to take my trailer in on trade for a smaller trailer. I'm sure I am the odd ball who even wants to do this but thought I would check around.

I'm not surprised. You'd be better off selling your trailer out right and then buying an RV. I applaud your research in an RV capable of towing horses. I too thought about going down that road, but in the end decided to stick with a truck and trailer.

It is amazing to me how many of the RV's are only rated for 5K even the bigger ones. Off to take an ad out on the trailer we aren't in a hurry at least. Thank you!

I would weigh and balance everything before doing that.... I know people who have some ole pots pulling a bumper pull, they are really NOT built to handle them... Check it out, do a lot of research. Pulling a big LQ is easy if you have the right truck... good luck.

We have a high end 5th wheel that we wanted to trade  for a LQ horse trailer.  A freind of ours wants to trade their LQ trailer for a motorhome. We are considering going to the dealer and asking for a 3 party deal.

That will get messy...
