I am looking to buy a sundowner sunlite 777 2005 2 horse bumper pull with dressing room. I have to questions first I drive a ram 1500 V8 5.7 L. The tow capacity is approximately 12000 pounds. I’m thinking with sway bars. My truck should be able to pull this trailer. The second question is I have a 1991 bumper Kingston trailer and don’t know much about the sundowners. It looks like it’s in great condition. Although again, I am not familiar with this trailer or the manufacturer. Looking for some recommendation/advice.

Location: Tenn/Ala.		Yes- weight didtribution hitch will make for nicer towing. The Sundowner, at well over 15 years old, as with any trailer, inspect thoroughly. Many are in great shape. Partiucularly check underneath framing, and aluminum floor. If the spray on bedliner on the aluminum floor is still in place, general recomendation is to strip it out so that urine doesn't get trapped in between the two and corrode.
