2007 Freightliner M2-106 SportChassis, Pre-Emission, 330HP, California Truck, Fully Loaded Here is your chance to own a true factory SportChassis Hauler, the ultra-desirable pre-emission Freightliner M2-106 with the big Mercedes MBE900 motor, finished in clean white. This one came to us out of California with 93,594 original miles, and it is immediately obvious it lived its life indoors and was never left to bake in the sun or sit out in the weather. Dry-state truck, no rust, no salt, and cared for by an owner who clearly took it seriously. TABLE OF SPECS Mileage 93,594 original miles Engine Mercedes MBE-900, 7.2L Horsepower 330 HP Torque 1,000 lb-ft Transmission Allison automatic GVWR 19,500 lb (Class 5, under the 26,001 lb CDL threshold) Chassis Freightliner M2-106 SportChassis conversion Brakes Hydraulic Suspension Air ride, air seats Fuel Capacity 100 gallons Exterior White, excellent condition Interior Black leather with wood grain dash and gray carpet, excellent condition Rear Seat Folds flat into a bed Hauling Setup Currently set up for gooseneck. Hensley Trailer Saver air ride fifth wheel hitch can be installed for $4,950 Emissions Factory EPA emissions, pre-emission powertrain Origin California truck, stored indoors WHY THIS TRUCK This is the full SportChassis option package, the one everybody is actually looking for. Wood grain dash, gray carpet, black leather interior, rear seat that folds down into a bed, and all the usual SportChassis goodies that make these trucks feel more like a luxury SUV than a medium duty. The Mercedes motor here is the 7.2L factory 330hp (not to be confused with the regular 6.4L 250hp motor), paired to an Allison automatic, which is the combination that made these trucks legendary in the first place: pull anything, tow it in comfort, and do it without a single emissions headache. The interior on this particular unit is genuinely excellent. The leather is in great shape, the wood grain still looks rich, and the carpet is clean. That is the payoff of an indoor-stored California truck. The dash is not cracked, the seats are not sun-baked, and everything reads like a truck that was used and enjoyed rather than abused. AN HONEST WORD ABOUT CONDITION We will be straight with you, because that is how we do business. As nice as this truck is, and it is nice, this is still a 2007 model pushing 20 years old with north of 93,000 miles on it. It is going to show some signs of wear and tear, and that is entirely to be expected on a truck of this age and mileage. It is not a brand new truck and we are not going to pretend it is one. What it is: an exceptionally well-kept, indoor-stored, dry-state SportChassis that presents far better than most of what is out there, priced as a used truck should be. TOWING ABILITY The truck is currently set up for gooseneck hauling and is ready to hook and go. If you would rather run a fifth wheel, we can install a Hensley Trailer Saver air ride fifth wheel hitch for $4,950. The combination of 330 HP, 1,000 lb-ft of torque, air ride suspension, air seats, and hydraulic brakes gives you plenty of pulling power and, more importantly, STOPPING power, whether you are hauling a large horse trailer, camper, or heavy equipment through the mountains or across the country. If you listed your truck or trailer on Horse Trailer World and cannot find the ad using the search tool, try broadening your search.

Start with the most general search options first. For example, search by only the state or only the brand instead of filling in multiple fields at once. This can make it easier to locate your listing.

If you know your ad number, you can also use the Ad Number search box to pull up your listing directly.

A strong listing can make a big difference when selling your horse trailer online. Based on what we’ve seen, trailers with clear photos, detailed descriptions, and fair pricing tend to get the most interest.

Photos are especially important. Ads with pictures consistently perform better than ads without them, so we recommend adding high-quality photos as soon as possible. Show the outside, inside, stalls, tack area, tires, hitch, living quarters if included, and any important details or upgrades. Good lighting and clean, uncluttered photos can help buyers feel more confident about reaching out.

Your description should be honest, specific, and easy to read

Include key details such as the year, brand, size, number of horses, trailer type, condition, features, recent maintenance, and any known issues. Buyers are looking for everything from large living-quarter trailers to simple 2-horse bumper pulls, so the more clearly you describe your trailer, the easier it is for the right buyer to find it.

Great photos can make a big difference when selling your trailer. Each ad allows up to 30 photos, and we recommend adding several clear, well-lit images to help buyers understand the condition, layout, and features of your trailer.

For the best results, include:

  • A clear 3/4 exterior view of the trailer
  • Interior photos of the horse area
  • Rear or loading area photos
  • Tack room or dressing room photos, if included
  • At least four interior photos for living quarter trailers
  • Close-ups of important features, upgrades, tires, hitch, and any areas buyers may ask about

Try to take photos on a bright, sunny day for the best color and clarity. Clean out the trailer first, remove clutter, and take photos from slightly different angles so buyers can get a complete view. Honest, detailed photos help build trust and can lead to more serious inquiries.

Photos can be uploaded anytime by logging into your ad. If you are ready to post your ad but do not have photos yet, you can add them later.

If you have trouble uploading photos, you may email them as attachments or mail them by regular ground mail. We accept JPG, GIF, TIFF, and BMP files by email, though JPG files work best. All photos are converted to JPG format for posting, and mailed photos are scanned and posted online. If you mail physical photos and want them returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Your personal and payment information is protected when you submit the Ad Form. The form is delivered through a secure SSL connection, which encrypts the information you enter before it is transmitted.

This added security helps protect sensitive details such as your credit card information, contact information, and other personal data. SSL encryption is the same type of security commonly used for online payments, banking, and other secure transactions.

Because the form uses encryption, it may load or respond a little more slowly than a standard webpage. You can confirm that the page is secure by looking for the security icon in your browser. In most browsers, you can click or double-click the icon to view more information about the secure connection.
