I still need to get Bill's Easy Six adopted/sold to someone who will have the time to ride him and keep him busy.  He needs more personal attention than he gets here;  that is, he really needs his own assigned human.  He is a good horse, well taken care of, just needs a new home.

If anyone is interested in a solid, sound AQHA registered gelding, please contact me.  P.S. It is interesting to visit the "adoption" sites and view the "adoption" fees for sound horses....they are far from "free."

Noticed that have ya....  I looked into adoption years ago but if I'm going to pay that much for a horse I'm going to OWN it.  Not just pay to borrow and take care of it like the contracts lay out.  I also looked into fostering when we lived in TX, we had the room, but they don't help pay for any expenses.  They expect you to care for the horse like it was yours and when it is adopted out you are just out everything you put in.

I would use other horse classifieds like Dreamhorse, Horsetopia, Cowboyway etc. Take a really nice pic of him (kinda hard right now since they all look like Chewbacca with the long winter coats) and post it to these sites. Takes a little money in advertising to sell a horse now days. But a good solid trail horse should not have a problem finding a new home. The down side is you just might not get the money you are wanting for him (which I don't know his price), so I'd weigh his happiness in being useful and loved by someone versus the money and the continued costs he is costing you to keep him.
