I just bought a canvas organizer, planning to install it on the right-hand wall in the rear tack compartment.  However, now that I look at it, I'm not sure how to hang it and still allow the rear tack compartment to collapse.  I want to put it on the right-hand wall, which you can't see in this picture, but at least it gives you an idea where the saddle/blanket racks are.

My old organizer had loops and straps in 3 places along the top, but this one just has a velcro strap on each corner, extending to the left and right, not up and down.  There are no grommet holes to put hooks through, either.  It seems like an odd design to me.  Anyone have any ideas how I should install it?  Clearly it should be removable if I want to be able to collapse the tack compartment.  The organizer looks just like this:

Wife mounted her's on the inside left door..... I see that yours has blanket/saddle pad bars there. How often do you collapse that tack? What do you do with the saddles and the swing out saddle rack?..... Go ahead and mount it on the tack wall, worry about it when you need to fold it all together. Use metal snaps or the little twist grommet things... Easy to remove if needed.

I have an extra saddle rack hanger that I can move it to in the DR... but won't need to collapse it much, just if a friend's horse comes along who is reluctant to load through the half-door.  Those twist-snaps are AWESOME, would I just cut a hole in the organizer and then put the eyelet over it?

Use a sharp single edge razor blade to cut the fabric so the blades of the eylet poke through the fabric, crimp them over on the fabric tightly, then cut the center fabric from the eylet so the twist lock pokes through... Remember, you can't use too many of them, the more the better.

Put/Install the eyelets on the canvas before drilling and mounting the twist locks to the wall/door. Then drill and mount one twist lock at the time so it will all match and line up...

Installing your own grommets is easy w/a kit like this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T7VZ

You can get them at any craft store and they are easy peasy to use.

edited to fix link!
