After all the issues I had with the 08 Ford F450, it is nice to be back in a dually that does it job well! It is getting 18.4 mpg without the trailer and it only has 900 miles on it! With the small trailer, it got 12.9 which is almost twice what the ford got with the same trailer.......pinch me!

Congrats, although I cannot see your picture! My 2010 Dodge is getting about 18MPG empty and yet managed to get 16MPG with the 4H GN (with 3 horses, roughly 7K total).Put 1900 miles on it so far in two weeks, pulls like a dream, although it can accelerate faster than I should with horses. Never had that problem with our old truck (had plenty of power to pull, but with the gas motor it was certainly working and you would really have to floor it to get up and going in a hurry!).

Glad to here the good news, just wait until you get 20-k miles then the mileage will get better.

Now maybe the couple on this forum that was giving me poop about my Dodge towing and mileage will back off now.

Enjoy your new truck. I have a 04.5 Dodge 3500 myself.
