Hello All,

I am new to posting on this site, not new to the site itself.. I purchased a trailer from an ad on this site. I really enjoy the great info on these forums..

But the reason for joining the forum is because as I browse trailer ads, ( which I love to do) I have noticed the condition of alot of trailers. Just a little tip, if you want your trailer to sell well, get the price you deserve and to have it go really fast, CLEAN IT!!

Great to have you personal stuff in it, but it really will show better..

Happy Trails..

Agreed! Crap laying all over is really a turn off for me when I am looking.

a squeaky clean horse compartment is a plus too. nothing says "ick" like green smears on the walls and piles of manure on the floor....

Doesn't this apply to just about anything in life? We bought a property last year that was in fairly good condition but a tad neglected- house was filthy, weeds taller than me, lots of trash laying around. We were able purchase it for about 2/3s of the original asking price because it had been on the market for well over 400 days. The clean up really didn't take that long and we feel like we made a great investment and we got our dream farm!

Yep, it is a real turn off.. I bought a featherlite. It was so filthy we wouldn't sleep in it on the way home, got a motel room instead. Consequently, I paid alot less than the trailer was worth. Their loss, my gain....

Thanks for all the input. Love this site!!

Sometimes people leave a trailer dirty to try to cover a defect...
