Need advice. I'm on my 2nd Tekonsha P3, first one buttons kept sticking, they replaced. Second one buttons stick, and LCD went black for months then came back on all warpy but sometimes readable. Braking seems ok, only couple times felt like I needed more but don't dare touch controller with no LCD. My CJ 2H str load trailer has new brakes etc done a year ago, worked fine for several times, last time out felt a drag going up easy hills that truck (Dodge 5.7 tow pkg) used to zoom up. The RV place suggests putting in a Prodigy II, says it is so much better than P3, but this is still made by Tekonsha, why would it be better than P3? THANK YOU

If you want to do away with elec controllers altogether and never regret it do a search on Brake Max on this site. I have never regretted it. Best 350 bucks you will spend on brakes.
