Hello everyone I have been seeing several trainers on RFD TV and in rental videos using this 3

ring combination bit and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. I'm training a couple of young gaited mules and it looks like it would be a good tool to have. I use a Brenda Imus gaited horse bit right now and they like it it gives them plenty of room for their tounge with out alot of pressure on their bars but the way this 3 ring works the nose along with the mouth and poll is interesting it just might work for me. Please give some feedback if you have had any experence with it. Also does anyone have one they would sell? $135.00 new is a little high for me.

Thanks for looking,

I do not use this bit  but have you checked with other trainers in your area if they will work with mules?

Not any mule trainers around here. Steve Edwards from Queen Valley Mule Ranch uses a double twisted wire snaffel which i dont like but he is also training quarter type mules. The guy from JB Gaited mules uses the 3 ring and he likes it along with the Rythum Collector, I'm just tring to get a little more feedback on the bit.

I have a three ring lifter bit that I would sell you. Can you post a photo of what you want, or can I email you a photo of mine?

Is it the 3-ring Myler bit? I have one that I will sell you. I don't use it anymore. I started both my horses with it.$65- and you pay the shipping. I can take a pic for you this weekend.

Hi,

I've been using the 3 ring combo bit with MB04 mouthpiece for quite awhile now - 3 years? On my TWH. The myler folk are very helpful if you aren't sure which mouthpiece would be best. Feel free to contact me directly at pupsnponies at gmail. Some places used to have the mylers for rental - so you could try them for a week or so before deciding. I could check to see if any are still active if you are interested.
