Has anyone been to Lonesome D in Arkansas recently?I was there a few years ago and they were doing somelogging, and I was wondering how the trails are now.

I have been sereral times, but not in two years and some was being logged then. Each time I went the camp ground needed more work than the previous trips ( generally as long as I have water and electricity I am good ) but the trails were still nice and still challenging. Buzzard Rock is something to see. It is easy to get to if you know where to exit the gravel road ( down someone's driveway that is actually a forest service trail ) Some of the trails required a GPS as they are not marked that well. Good riding on the pok-a-dot trail.

I was hoping someone would have been able to respond. We did enjoy our trips to Lonesome D. We are going to Falling Waters in Pelsor, AR next month which is north of Russellville, AR. We enjoy this whole area as it is the nearest place for us to ride with some good climbs.
