Has anyone done a conversion from full electric drum brakes to electric/Hydro brakes either drum or disc? If so what are your thoughts.

I've not done the conversion, but I have the Titan hydraulic brakes and wouldn't go back to electric. If I was converting I would go with disc brakes. Best of the best.Keep us up dated on the project.

I installed the Kodiak kit 4 years ago on our lq and have been very pleased.  Only problem I had was blew a tire and took out the flex line that went to the brake caliber and spent several hours on a holiday weekend making fittings to seal the line off.  If you do convert I would make sure and keep an extra flex line just in case you ever need it.  The Kodiak kit uses GM rotors and pads and are available any where.  The flex line is a trailer part not a GM part.  I use my trailer brakes alot more now than I use the truck brakes and have not gone thru a set of pads yet.  We probably avgerage 10K miles a year mainly in the Southeast US with some Smokey Mtn trips.
