Still looking for a trailer with larger living quarters, found a 2000 Sidekick. What is the good bad and ugly on this brand. I did a search on them, can not find too much on them. Where do they stand on construction? We have had a Sundowner,Exiss and currently 4Star. Each time we traded up,as far as size goes. This trailer looks good it is several years older than our 4Star but larger living quarters.

I've had a Sidekick trailer now for two years and just love it. I feel it's a good quality trailer and I would buy one again. I think the quality would compare to a 4 Star Trailer without the price tag.
My trailer is a 1997 and I figured someday I'd have to replace a few things but I've had nothing major. I've had a lot of comments of people saying it's a really nice trailer and they always think it's newer than it is.
I talked with the Sidekick co. or company that took them over trying to replace some keys. The person I talked with said those trailer were built like a tank back then and are good trailers.

Some are all aluminum, some came with FRP siding. I have a 2000 4 horse and absolutely love it. It is all aluminum construction with a huge midtack. The quality in these trailers is as good as if not better than the top brands still sold today. It is unfortunate they went out of business, they made an outstanding product.

I have a SideKick and love it! It is all aluminum but has the FRP roof. I don't know if they all had them or not. I have not had any trouble with it at all. It has a huge mid tack just fixing to do an DIY living quarters project on it. Should be very interesting. LOL! Happy Trailer Hunting
