My friend can't find my horse that has been missing since Jan 14 in a 400 acrea field. The farmer/owner has been giving problems in that he doesn't want the 4-wheelers more then once a week looking for her. He thinks that the 4-wheelers are chasing away deer that he wants to hunt in the hunting season. I believe that she and 4 other mares got seprated from the main herd due to a coyote attack where one pony was killed. I believe she got scaried and ran off. ANy help?? or Ideas on who to contact to get help?

How about someone coming in on horseback to look for the lost horses? Not only will 4-wheelers scare away the deer they also can do a great deal of damage to the grass and soil.
I take it you are not in a position to look for your horse yourself? Will she come to a someone with a can of grain? That works for me. I whistle and shake grain can.

No, she has not been found. I'm not sure if she was stolen, Yahoo group is keeping an eye for her if she ends up at an auction. Police offiers where involved but there is a lack of envidences due to weather factors that destroyed if there was anything
