First of all, I'm not even really sure what they are called, but I want to install some walk-thru fence gaps to eliminate opening and closing gates all the time. Kind of a Y-shaped thing that a person can walk through but horses cannot. Not really a stile, but some people might call them that. Not really a kissing gate, either, because I don't want moving parts.Anyway, I'm looking for dimensions that I should use. Does anybody have one?

I had run across that C Gate site. Thanks. That is essentially what I'm after. They do not list any dimensions on their site, and I'm not going to buy one from them. Thanks for the other links, too. I don't want a kissing gate because I don't need something that fancy with moving parts. And most of the dimensions I see on the intermess accommodate wheelchairs, which I hope not to need.I'm looking for something like this:---------<---------Or in a corner like this:. |. || || ||________

Edit: Why doesn't this forum let a person make paragraphs. The return key isn't recognized???And you can't edit after three minutes? It takes me three minutes just to compose my thoughts. Ha ha.

Thanks Paul. I hadn't seen that link, yet. That site shows 24 inches as the walk-thru space. I was thinking of making the critical dimension 18 inches, but am now thinking of making it a bit bigger. I can always make the opening smaller by welding a post or other piece on, but once the posts are set, it would be tougher to make the opening larger.

I have some built into my fence. I will take pictures and measurements tomorrow. I did later add a gate because I got sheep and they could get through the walk-thru.....
