About 4 years ago I stupidly turned too sharp, smashed into a hole and broke the LF wheel of my trailer(Hart LQ).   Luckily there were no horses on the trailer b/c it was quite an impact.  Fast forward..  We put new tires on last fall, less than 1000 miles later discovered the tread half worn off the LF tire.  bearings checked out fine, but the mechanic said the wheel was weighted rather heavy on one side which was maybe a little odd.

They jacked it up and found a bent axel.  It's  bent by about 3/8", but it will get worse w/ use and time.  We're guessing this is caused from smashing into the hole, and has taken a while to get bad enough to cause problems.

Anyway, we've got a new axel on order.   I'm beating myself up over this but it's only money, right?
