Subject: Size of Anod rod socket

Location: Le Claire IA		I need to take this rod out of my water heater. What size socket is common. The 1" is too small and I'm not sure if it's metric or imperial. I didn't find it in the book.

Location: western PA		It's also the same size used to remove the nuts of the sims whole wheel coverings.
