Hell, nick here from deep south texas and a new member. I currently own one mare and in the process off trying to trailride in the future. I have a general question of a trailer im interested in, if it is worth the price? Its a 1988 WW 2axle 2horse trailer with trailer brakes. The wood floor has been replaced but exterior steel plating sides are a bit rusty with two spots that have actual holes. Another flaw is that one axle looks to be bent upward as if in A shape. The tires are fair and frame is intact with no cracks but certainly rusty.
Thanks for your time.

Pass on this. The axle shouldn't be bent along with the cancerous rust (if you can see through them it's REALLY BAD) makes me wonder if this has the ability to safely haul your horse(s) in to and from the trails. Find a reliable trailer repair place near you and see if they have anything for sale or a local dealer. Hope you didn't have your heart set on this trailer! Keep looking and you'll find something safer.

Thanks and the holes were only on the sheet metal not actual frame but axle being bent was an indicative of the actual condition of the trailer. Also I tried to post pictures but doesnt allow because of size, so can I post link to my photobucket and still abide by forum rules? Thanks for ya'll advice

I agree with Huntseat, pass on this trailer. Any complete repairs will exceed the purchase price for a mechanical restoration. Because the axle is bent, there's a good chance the attached tries are badly worn as well. A new set of four will add another ~$500 -$1000 to your ownership costs. You will be better off financially, to purchase a better trailer at a higher initial cost, that needs less repair and has been consistently maintained.
