I have an '02 gooseneck Featherlite that I pull with my Ram2500 diesel. Just recently, on two occasions when I've had the truck & trailer hooked up, I heard a buzzing noise near the horse compartment. It sounds like wasps buzz. When I disconnect the electric from the truck, the noise goes away. I replugged it, and no noise either. Can anyone suggest what might be happening? Is it a short or brakes issue? Is it dangerous? Thanks for your help.

Good suggestion, I'll check for that. The digital display on the brake controller often flashes and displays numbers even when it's not connected to the trailer.
