We are putting living quarters into our 4 horse Sooner gooseneck trailer. We are trying to find a battery box that will mount above the spare tire. What we are having trouble finding is one that will open to the front instead of the top. When you have to do maintenance on the batteries,it would be much easier to open the box from the front with more room, than to try to work on batteries with metal right aboue your hands. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time. Shelly

Find a local sheet metal fabricator in your area and have them build a custom battery box.

You might call Don Johnson, I think he's got a nice sized repair shop and might have what you need in stock. http://www.thetrailerplace.com/
